Experience

  • An experienced leader, able to work externally to develop strong long-term relationships. Uses networks for the good of the charity and to influence seemingly ‘hard to reach’.
  • Experience of developing and implementing a fundraising and/or sales strategy that has accelerated income growth and established a diversified sustainable income base.
  • Proven experience of establishing long-term partnerships that have provided the basis for income, the promotion of the charity’s services and enhancement of brand.
  • Experience leading the development and implementation of high impact marketing strategies.
  • A demonstrable history of advancing diversity and developing inclusive culture within your organisations.

Skills

  • Exceptional influencing and persuasion skills, securing commitment on complex and contentious themes.
  • Highly skilled at prospecting and pipeline management with a track record of successfully developing innovative engagement strategies across multiple channels and segments that achieve and exceed agreed targets.
  • Accomplished at creating an overall narrative that links audiences and ensures consistency of voice and message across channels such as donors, partner schools and trusts, policy makers and recruits. Maximises brand presence and strength, with the ability and judgement to position the brand for different audiences without losing impact.
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with ministers, policy colleagues and key stakeholders.
