- Experience of representing an organisation both internally and externally.
- Experience of being accountable for large budgets and obtaining external funding.
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
- Knowledge of the youth sector and youth organisations.
- Understanding of how to achieve impact, educational outcomes and theory of change.
- Knowledge of mechanisms to monitor change and progress with objectives.
- Ability to bring rigour, challenge and realism to the senior debate, and of creating a culture of openness and transparency.
- Well-developed people-management skills, with significant experience of successfully leading and motivating teams.
- Proven ability to form good working relationships across a diverse workforce, including senior volunteers.
- Ability to manage large-scale budgets effectively.
