Benefits

Hours: A normal working week at BAFTA is 37.5 hours, however this is a demanding full-time role, and as the ‘face of BAFTA’ this role will require evening and weekend work.

Place of work: BAFTA is currently trialling a hybrid model, with most staff members enjoying a mixture of home working and meeting in our office space in central London. Candidates may be based anywhere in the UK, but there will be expectation of regular travel into London. This role will lead by example to develop the office culture allowing some flexibility, whilst encouraging effective and productive use of the office.

Holiday: 36 days per year (pro rata) inclusive of normal UK bank holidays. Eight of these days are to be taken during the office close down (five in August and three between Christmas and New Year). The holiday year runs from 1 January – 31 December each year.

Pension: You will be automatically enrolled in the group personal pension scheme on completion of three months’ employment unless you choose to opt out. BAFTA will contribute an amount equal to 8% of your basic salary to the scheme provided that your contribution is at least 5% of your salary.

Private health care & health cash plans: All staff are invited to join the health care cash plan. A cash plan is designed to pay out for everyday health care costs such as dental treatment, eye tests, glasses/contact lenses, physiotherapy, chiropody and even preventive measures such as health screening. Some senior managers are also invited to participate in our private health care option.

Well-being: We know that work is one part of a balanced and happy life, and staff well-being is an organisational priority. We have recently trained some staff to be mental health first aiders and we: offer flexible working and flexible hours, invest in an employer assistance programme which includes 24/7 counselling, and try to organise bi-annual social gatherings and team socials.
