Conflicts of Interest

To support transparency, fairness and integrity throughout the recruitment process, candidates who progress to the shortlisting stage will be required to complete a Declaration of Interests form as part of their application. This enables The Road Safety Trust to identify and appropriately manage any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest that could arise in relation to the role, the Trust, or its stakeholders.

A conflict of interest will not necessarily prevent an individual from being considered for the appointment however, all declarations will be reviewed to ensure any conflicts can be managed appropriately and do not compromise the independence, impartiality or integrity of the role. Applicants are expected to disclose any relevant personal, professional, financial, or organisational interests, including relationships or affiliations that may be connected to the work of the Trust.

Failure to declare a relevant interest may result in an application being withdrawn from the recruitment process or, where applicable, termination of appointment.

Diversity and Inclusion

At The Road Safety Trust, we are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and able to thrive. We recognise that a diverse workforce brings broader perspectives, stronger collaboration and better outcomes for our people, partners, and the communities we serve.

We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities and we are committed to ensuring our recruitment processes are fair, transparent and free from discrimination.

As part of our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, applicants will be required to complete a Diversity form during the recruitment process. Information provided will be collected anonymously and used only to review the breadth of diversity in our application pool.
