Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Experienced and successful leader, able to lead a mission driven organisation in an environment of complexity and change.
  • Good strategic player, with significant experience setting strategic direction and harnessing resources to deliver.  Ability to see the big picture, seize opportunities and manage risks in the interests of the Trust’s beneficiaries.
  • Through exceptional, strong leadership, inspiring people management and oversight, create the conditions in which everyone in the organisation is accountable for the delivery of a highly efficient, innovative, financially-sustainable and high-performing service.
  • Experience of consumer / retail service delivery in either a third sector, commissioned or commercial environment, delivering quality, value for money services.

Desirable

  • Experience in the debt/credit advice sector or consumer services sector.
  • Understanding of the debt advice policy framework.
  • Masters level degree or equivalent.
