Person Specification

This is a broad and varied job in a growing organisation, spanning income generation, partnership development, organisational leadership, culture change, and corporate strategy. We are looking for a commercially-minded senior leader who has an understanding of the creative industries landscape and who has experience of generating new revenues.  As such, we are looking for a strategic, creative doer, someone who can ensure Creative UK is able to put its ideas and vision into action and catalyse wider change across the sectors we work with.

We would value someone who has a deep track record of boosting an organisation’s income, perhaps through developing a commercial offering or building programmatic partnerships that are also commercial. Moreover, experience of leading or contributing to culture change, particularly helping an organisation become more commercially focused, is important to us.

We are open to people from a variety of professional backgrounds, though a demonstrable understanding of (and ideally network within) the creative industries will be important to enable you to hit the ground running.

Perhaps most of all, we are looking for someone with spark and ambition, someone who is resilient and passionate about the potential of the creative industries and the role that this position at Creative UK can have in realising that vision.

This job description is not intended to be either prescriptive or exhaustive; it is issued as a framework to outline the main areas of responsibility at the time of writing
