Working collaboratively across the UK, we make sure customers can access high-quality money and pensions guidance and debt advice throughout their lives, how and when they need it.
Who we are
We’re transforming financial wellbeing in the UK
We’re an arm’s-length body of Government, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, with a commitment to ensuring that people throughout the UK have guidance and access to the information they need to make effective financial decisions over their lifetime.
We’re here to ensure every person feels more in control of their finances throughout their lives: from pocket money to pensions. Why? Because when they are, communities are healthier, businesses are more prosperous, the economy benefits and individuals feel better off.
Our key responsibilities
Our work is delivered across five core functions: pensions guidance, debt advice, money guidance, consumer protection and coordinating a national strategy to improve financial wellbeing across the UK.
We also have a specific mandate from government to facilitate the pensions industry to develop the pensions dashboards. This programme of work will allow individuals to access their pensions information online, securely and all in one place, supporting better planning for retirement.
