People and Culture Trustee
Ideal background
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role at Director / Board level.
- Demonstrated experience in leading organisational development and change management, aligning infrastructure and capability to business needs.
- Track record of successful leadership and delivery of HR strategies that align with organisational vision and objectives.
- Experience in developing a strong employer value proposition.
- Familiarity with HR technology and data analytics for informed decision making.
- Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and ability to embed them in HR practices.
- Experience to lead an organisation and its’ people through a change process, with knowledge of business design principles and adapting structures to organisational goals and objectives.
Ability to advise on
- Provide strategic oversight, support and challenge to the Board, CEO and Director of People and Culture, in relation to the development and successful implementation of our people and culture strategy.
- Provide thought leadership on the industry’s trends and best practices related to people and culture.
- Specifically, to provide counsel relating to driving organizational transformation, shaping, and implementing strategies to foster strong performance and a compelling employee and volunteer engagement, and to ensure the attraction, development, and retention of top talent.
- Support the Board of trustees in overseeing reputational risk management in relation to people and culture.
- Be a sounding board on people change management and culture transformation to the CEO and Director of People and Culture.
Digital/Hybrid Service Design Trustee
Ideal background
- Proven experience leading effective use of digital technologies, hybrid practices, to enhance, ideally, not-for-profit service delivery, improve user experience, and drive operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding in how to develop and align a digital first/hybrid service vision and associated strategic delivery plan aligned to our organisational strategy.
- Track record of leading the design of digital experiences focused on the people that use them.
- Passionate about creating intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience leading UX teams, driving the strategic vision and execution of user-centred design across a range of digital platforms.
- Expertise and experience in user focussed design, co-creation, and impact measurement.
Able to advise on
- Provide strategic oversight, support and challenge to the Board, CEO and Executive Leadership Team, in relation to the development of service design strategies and impact measurement, particularly digital/hybrid service design.
- Provide thought leadership on the industry’s trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to service design methodologies and approaches.
- Specifically, to provide counsel relating to driving organisational service transformation, shaping, and implementing strategies to foster a user-led first approach to service design.
- Support the Board of trustees in overseeing reputational risk management in relation to our services, particularly our digital channels.
Commercial Business & Product Development Trustee
Ideal background
- A highly experienced and visionary MD/Director of Business or Product Development who possesses a strong background in new product/business innovation and development, financial planning, and business development leadership.
- Proven experience guiding product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and sector demands.
- Strong understanding on how to identify business (and sector) opportunities, analyse external sector landscapes, and develop comprehensive product roadmaps.
- Passion for fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement with strategic vision and leadership in driving product excellence, enhancing user satisfaction, and achieving sustainable growth.
Able to advise on
- Provide strategic oversight, support and challenge to the Board, CEO, Director of Income Generation and Director of Performance Marketing and Comms, in relation to the development and successful implementation of our income generation and performance marketing strategies.
- Provide thought leadership on the industry’s trends and best practices related to product and business development.
- Specifically, to provide counsel relating to shaping, and implementing strategies to drive new business development in line with our strategic goals.
- Support the Board of trustees in overseeing risk management in relation to new business development.
- Be a sounding board on all areas of business development to the CEO and relevant Directors.
High Value Relationships Trustee
Ideal background
- A well connected and influential corporate leader/individual with experience as a CEO or Executive/Non-Executive member of a Board of Directors.
- You will have significant experience of building, influencing, negotiating relationships with high value networks and securing funding/value.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience helping charities build their portfolio of high-value relationships comprising major donors, trusts and foundations, our ambassadors, senior volunteers, and other influential stakeholders.
- You’ll aim to broaden HDfDP’s circle of influence and drive income/value.
Able to advise on
- Provide strategic oversight, support and challenge to the Board, CEO and Director of Income Generation, in relation to the development and successful implementation of our high value strategy.
- Provide thought leadership on the industry’s trends and best practices to support growth.
- Support the Board of trustees in overseeing reputational risk management in relation to high value relationship management.
- Day to day, be a sounding board to the CEO and Director of Income Generation.
