Qualifications and Training

 

High level experience in an income generating role. Charity experience is not essential.
Previous Experience Proven record of leadership at executive level and team management, preferably within a growth orientated company/charity.

Oversight of income and expenditure budget £3m plus and experience of forecasting (voluntary) income.

Proven record in securing significant income from major donors, trusts, and corporate partners.

Experience of launching successful commercial ventures and/or profit generating products.

Experience of working with a Board (of Trustees).

 

Skills/Abilities/

Knowledge

Excellent leadership, communication and relationship building skills with the enthusiasm to collaborate.

Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.

Excellent relationship building skills with a diverse range of stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals, corporate senior executives, and trustees.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and influence.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and social impact.

IT competency with all Microsoft packages

Proficiency in using data visualisation tools e.g. Power BI.
Attitude and Approach

 

‘Hands-on’ approach and flexible ‘can do’ initiative-taking attitude. Must be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of staff and volunteers.

Focussed on getting the job done effectively and efficiently whilst keeping others on side. Ability to identify and solve problems, resolve conflict, and think creatively.
