Our mission is built on rebuilding connection, companionship, and confidence through trained hearing dogs, practical and emotional support services; transforming the lives of people who are deaf or have hearing loss. The Director of Services plays a central role in bringing this mission to life. It is a role that reaches into every corner of the charity: shaping our long‑term direction, ensuring the highest standards of quality and welfare, championing our volunteers, supporting our teams, and ensuring that every service we deliver is impactful, sustainable and person‑centred.
This role requires a leader who brings both strategic clarity, robust delivery, and a deeply human approach. You will work closely with me and the Executive Leadership Team to shape our vision and translate it into meaningful action. You will lead a committed group of leaders, service colleagues and volunteer dog trainers, helping them to grow, collaborate and deliver at their very best. You will represent the organisation externally with credibility and confidence, building partnerships that support excellence and innovation. And above all, you will champion the people and volunteers who rely on us — ensuring that every decision we make is rooted in their experience, their needs and their aspirations.
