Leadership and management – proven ability to build a team which can develop and grow a viable business operation.
Revenue generation – track record of raising revenue to sustain and grow a business
Public policy/communications – proven track record in a senior ambassadorial role, including handling of external PR activities, and influencing external stakeholders (including the general public) and other parties effectively at the most senior levels.
Understanding of alternative delivery models – experience in non-traditional, agile ways of working and using innovative delivery models to generate impact and income.
Convener – demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining partnerships across public, private and not-for-profit sectors to deliver joint initiatives; proven commercial acumen to deliver initiatives, often supported financially by partners.
Sector expertise – have knowledge and experience of health and care with a strong profile across the sector.

Proven motivational leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others to achieve results and deliver initiatives, and their outcomes, to time, cost and quality. FCC is a small organisation, and the desire and ability to ‘do’ and get ‘stuck in’ is critical.
Results oriented and disciplined, demanding and fair, but also naturally collaborative.
Good business and financial planning skills together with the ability to evaluate, assess and manage risk.
