Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Strong track record of operating at senior management level in either the charitable or business sectors.
  • Experience of working with at Board level and with charity trustees
  • Proven track record of operational delivery – delivering challenging targets, meeting timescales and quality requirements.
  • Good understanding of finance, with experience of managing complex budgets, preferable in a not-for-profit context.
  • Proven people leadership and management skills with experience of creating and developing diverse teams.
  • Experience of corporate social responsibility and community engagement
  • Demonstrable track record in finding and winning funding.
  • Good communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivation skills but also able to work as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.

 

Desirable:

  • A good understanding of ELBA’s proposition and competitors’ products.
  • Experience of safeguarding policies and procedures.
