Salary: £75,000-£85,000
Purpose of the role
The Director of Delivery has primary responsibility for the delivery of Local Trust’s key strategic objectives of ensuring that the Big Local programme is successfully delivered and Local Trust has provided the support necessary for Big Local partnerships to put in place their plans for legacy and sustainability.
Job description (key duties)
- Be responsible for the successful delivery and operation of Big Local ,and ensure the support is appropriate and delivered to a high quality.
- Lead on and support colleagues as appropriate, troubleshoot and manage crisis in areas as they emerge.
- Chair the Big Local oversight group within Local Trust, responsible for the development and delivery of the programme.
- Be responsible for the development and delivery of the Programme Delivery Framework, updating and refreshing it in line with the emerging context, and in line with the strategy.
- Work closely with the Director of partnerships to ensure the support offer to areas is fit for purpose, meets the needs of the areas and delivers best value.
- Oversee the development of and management of the delivery budget, which includes ensuring that the grant to areas and overarching support costs are aligned.
- Create internal and external value through positive collaboration with colleagues, funders, delivery agents, and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic support to the Head of Area support and Head of Programme Delivery in delivering their mission-critical roles, adding both value within the organisation and as critical contributors to the delivery of Big Local.
- Have overall responsibility for all HR matters in the organisation.
