Education and qualifications

  1. Demonstrable experience of leading the development and implementation of strategic and operational EDI work making significant improvements on this organisational agenda.
  2. Understanding of and experience of the positive impact of influencing health inequalitiesis desirable.
  3. Demonstrable experience in extending reach both internally for employees and volunteers, but also externally to all communities where services are delivered to.
  4. Demonstrable experience in cultivating networks externally and internally that add value and instigate long lasting impact.
  5. Demonstrable experience of managing teams that provide EDI leadership and support to organisations.
  6. Demonstrable experience of Leadership and influencing but also practical hands on skills, able to develop and implement a practical EDI plan and support teams integrating it.
  7. Ability to manage senior roles and performance.
  8. Demonstrates sound decision-making taking personal accountability for risks and decisions which carry organisation-wide impact.
  9. Skilled at using data, insights and evidence to deliver impact.
  10. Experience of building collaborative relationships, using appropriate challenge and support, managing conflict and behaviours and role modelling positive values-led leadership.
  11. Skilled at developing and delivering change and continuous improvement at all levels.
  12. Demonstrates influencing and negotiation skills to achieve the best outcomes for the organisation overall.
  13. Ability to think strategically and corporately, shaping organisation thinking, projecting direction and considering future consequences.
  14. Skilled at balancing delivering sustainable results with supporting the positive wellbeing of our people.
  15. Is able to inspire and lead people. Attracting and including a diverse workforce.
