Education and qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of leading the development and implementation of strategic and operational EDI work making significant improvements on this organisational agenda.
- Understanding of and experience of the positive impact of influencing health inequalitiesis desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in extending reach both internally for employees and volunteers, but also externally to all communities where services are delivered to.
- Demonstrable experience in cultivating networks externally and internally that add value and instigate long lasting impact.
- Demonstrable experience of managing teams that provide EDI leadership and support to organisations.
- Demonstrable experience of Leadership and influencing but also practical hands on skills, able to develop and implement a practical EDI plan and support teams integrating it.
- Ability to manage senior roles and performance.
- Demonstrates sound decision-making taking personal accountability for risks and decisions which carry organisation-wide impact.
- Skilled at using data, insights and evidence to deliver impact.
- Experience of building collaborative relationships, using appropriate challenge and support, managing conflict and behaviours and role modelling positive values-led leadership.
- Skilled at developing and delivering change and continuous improvement at all levels.
- Demonstrates influencing and negotiation skills to achieve the best outcomes for the organisation overall.
- Ability to think strategically and corporately, shaping organisation thinking, projecting direction and considering future consequences.
- Skilled at balancing delivering sustainable results with supporting the positive wellbeing of our people.

- Experience of driving a high-performance culture, at an organisational level, through clear accountabilities, objective setting, performance management, coaching, feedback and development for all.
- Experience of financial planning, including setting, managing and monitoring significant budgets and proven track record in achieving financial targets.
