ESSENTIAL
- Commitment to and passion for the mission and vision of SOLT/UK Theatre.
- Senior leadership experience in a complex organisation in the public, private or voluntary sector.
- A clear, authentic and collegiate leader.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form new partnerships and influence key external stakeholders with credibility and impact.
- Financial and risk management acumen.
- Ability to scan the external landscape, proactively spot opportunities and respond quickly within a changing environment.
- Proven ability to provide strategic leadership to the senior team and wider staff group.
- Creating and advancing a diverse, inclusive environment in which staff and the sector can develop and thrive.
- Demonstrable track record of building a high-performance culture through collaborative engagement.
- Diplomatic and ambassadorial skills and experience of effective and authentic engagement with cross-party political leaders, business leaders, staff, and media.
- A track record of supporting innovation and challenging and changing the status quo inside and outside of their organisation and/or sector.
DESIRABLE
- Experience of working with a membership body or in a unionised environment.
- Knowledge of the theatre industry.
