Having worked in a range of roles tackling serious organised crime I joined the NCA at its inception in 2013. As DG Operations I lead the operational response to tackling Serious Organised Crime for the agency. We have a unique and challenging mission. At the heart of this is the NCA Investigations Directorate working with national and international partners to mount criminal investigations into a range of complex crimes from online child abuse to transnational organised crime and sanctions evasion.
This vital work drives executive action against SOC threats identified through proactive intelligence collection and reactive long-term investigations. The directorate works collaboratively with Police Forces and Regional Organised Crime Units to tackle the threat.
The agency benefits from a diverse multi agency background bringing together in-depth knowledge with innovation and new ideas to disrupt organised crime.
