  • This is a new role for Morden College and we’re looking for a dynamic and motivational leader with strong critical thinking and communication skills who has experience in monitoring and evaluating projects, is committed to community engagement, and who understands the power of partnership working.
  • The ideal candidate will need significant experience in efficient and consistent service delivery, strong leadership and commercial abilities, and be open to drawing on the latest research on different ways of supporting health and wellbeing as we age.   As the organisation continues to evolve, so will your role and the impact you have.
  • You will have a strong sense of how to use resources well to deliver effective services that represent good value for money to our residents that will foster community, health, and well-being in later life.
  • You will be committed to challenging ageism, promoting healthy ageing, combatting loneliness, and promoting equity, diversity and inclusion within communities.
  • You will have strong written and presentation skills to be able to engage with a range of stakeholders, including our Trustees.
  • Consultation and impact measurement will be at the heart of this work to ensure that we are constantly seeking input and feedback from residents in both Independent Living Almshouses or in our care services.
  • You will be comfortable using technology to ensure that we are as efficient and effective as possible. You will develop the collection of qualitative and quantitative data to drive decision-making.
  • Proven ability to build strong networks, through which you will share and debate and learn from others.
  • Excellent understanding of legal and regulatory aspects of the role and confidence with HR risk and compliance.
