Thank you for your interest in the Film and TV Charity, and our mission to build an inclusive and equitable community of support in the UK’s film, television, and cinema industry.
Founded in 1924 by a group of forward-thinking industry philanthropists we are fast approaching our centenary year in 2024. While the Charity has changed rapidly in the past five years and now achieves far higher scale and impact than ever before, there remains much more we can do for the 200,000 industry people we exist to serve. The next leg of our journey has the potential to really make our work fly.
Never before has the partnership of the third and private sector been such a fertile ground for catalysing change, and the Film and TV Charity sits at this intersection, bringing the best of systems change thinking to bear on one of the UK’s most exciting, creative and economically successful sectors.
