Recruitment Process Overview
Director General level recruitment competitions are governed by the Civil Service Commission’s Recruitment Principles. Applications will be sifted against the criteria set out above by a panel chaired by a Civil Service Commissioner.
This competition will be chaired by Sarah Pittam, Civil Service Commissioner. The panel will also include:
- Stephen Parkinson, Director of Public Prosecutions,
- Antonia Romeo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice
- Douglas Wilson, Director General of the Attorney General’s Office and
- Panel Member TBC.
Following panel interviews, and as in all Director General level appointments, any proposed appointment will need Prime Minister approval before outcomes can be confirmed.
