Welcome

Thanks for your interest in joining Change Grow Live.

I know the team at Green Park will have already told you about our charity and the role, but I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what I think makes working at Change Grow Live special.

Firstly, we are the largest provider of drug and alcohol treatment services in the UK. We work with hundreds of thousands of people each year, but, in our society, a stigma still surrounds drug and alcohol use.

Many of the people we work live in the most deprived areas across the country, some are in the criminal justice system and many have faced serious challenges in their lives. This makes our work as rewarding as it can be challenging. But, with us, you’ll be able to make a real difference in communities.

Secondly, our work is shaped by a simple but powerful idea: Believe in People. This belief underpins our strategy, our operating model and culture, and our plans for the future. For people that use our services, it means we understand, we don’t judge, and we believe anyone can make positive changes in their lives.

The past few years have been tough, but we have maintained a strong financial base. Our balance sheet has good cash-backed reserves and our liquidity is strong, despite the economic conditions facing the UK. These reserves are being part utilised to fund a transformation programme to ensure we continue to best serve the people that use our services and that we remain sustainable for the future.

With the publication of Dame Carole Black’s landmark review and the launch of the government’s new 10-year drug strategy, we are now looking to the future and are excited about the opportunities for increasing our impact and influence.

A role with Change Grow Live will see you join an outstanding team of staff and Trustees working together to deliver the best possible outcomes for those who use our services.  The Executive Leadership Team are currently working together, alongside the Board, to develop our new organisational strategy for 2025 and beyond which will help shape the organisation now and into the future.

We are looking for a Chief People Officer not only with the skills, experience, and commitment to join our Executive Leadership Team, but who also has resonance with the work we undertake.  This role will play a key part in supporting significant organisational modernisation and transformational activities in the short, medium and long term.  If you are excited by the idea of helping with the next phase of Change Grow Live’s development, and this sounds like the role for you, I look forward to your application.
