Magenta Living is the largest registered housing provider in Wirral, and a not-for-profit organisation owning and managing c.13,000 properties.  Employing around 600 staff with a turnover of c. £70 million (20/21), we are a significant local employer demonstrated by an Investors in People Gold standard and retaining our Customer Service Excellence certificate.

Since 2005 we have spent over £190m on our homes social and affordable rent properties, shared ownership, rent to buy, extra care and private rental homes.  Magenta Living is building a further 1,000 new homes as part of its growth strategy following a successful refinancing earlier in the year. We are also committed to investing in our existing housing stock by meeting The Decent Homes Standard and External Wall Insulation, Energy Performance and Carbon Zero initiatives.

We have a major role to play across our region. We have achieved a considerable amount in recent years and are delighted that we have achieved a G1 governance rating from our regulator this summer, however there is still much more to do. Given the very significant challenges to the communities we serve are now facing, not least with the cost-of-living spiralling, now more than ever we remain committed to delivering a great service and having a positive impact on our customers.

Our culture at Magenta Living is collegiate and customer centric and The Magenta Way, our cultural change programme continues to strengthen these values and underpins the way we do things.

Since 2018 we have been progressing our Corporate Plan for 2018-2024. Our Corporate Plan clearly sets out what we want to achieve in the future (our Vision), identifies how we will operate as an organisation working towards this Vision (our Values) and highlights four clear strategic objectives we have set as we measure progress towards the achievement of this vision (our VIBE).
