We need collaborative action across society to unlock the impact of science.<\/p>\n<p>Our Policy and Partnerships department unlocks Wellcome\u2019s scientific impact through policy and political insight and advocacy, and by working in partnership with governments, multilateral institutions and other funders.<\/p>\n<p>Wellcome has a strong track record in delivering influential policy and advocacy work, including shaping the Brexit deal for science and global governance for tackling anti-microbial resistance, and bringing health into the UNFCCC climate negotiations.<\/p>\n<p>From this strong foundation, we are increasing our ambition for Wellcome\u2019s policy impact. We are now looking for a leader for a new Policy Labs team, to complement our policy work in global health and our Solutions programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a new area of work that builds on our success influencing UK and EU science policy. Policy Labs will lead our UK and international science policy portfolio, and deliver timebound policy sprints on critical issues for Wellcome.
