UKROEd is a private, not-for-profit company that operates, manages, administers and develops the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) on behalf of the UK police forces.
The core functions of UKROEd are to develop courses; to quality assure trainers and providers; to enable members of the public to choose where they would like to attend a course; to disburse course fees paid by members of the public; and to recoup the administrative costs incurred by course providers and police enforcement activities.
The philosophy behind the scheme is the acknowledgement in the value of trying to educate and change motorists’ behaviour as an alternative to enforcement sanctions, when their driving may have amounted to a lapse of concentration or an error of judgment with no serious consequences or high risk.
We delivered courses to more than two million clients over the past 12 months, and we are moving forward to increase our delivery even more. To help spearhead this future expansion, UKROEd requires innovative and passionate non-executive directors to join its Board.
With this recruitment campaign, we are particularly interested in individuals with strong backgrounds in HR, education, behavioural change, finance and wider governance acumen. Ideal candidates will bring a proven track record as NEDs, offering strategic insight, independent challenge and constructive support to help shape our direction and ensure we continue to deliver impact with integrity.
If you have the expertise, vision, and commitment to help guide a forward-looking organisation, we would be delighted to hear from you.
