Essential
- Experience in a senior leadership (C-suite) role within finance, HR, or audit & risk, with proven Board-level experience and a strong contribution to governance and strategic decision-making. This may include experience gained in the public or private sector, government bodies, or emergency services.
- Established track record of successfully undertaking and leading transformational change and the ability to share this experience with other board members.
- Proven strategic thinker, able to foresee challenges in advance, and devise alternative strategies and processes to ensure continuous delivery in support of business goals.

- Excellent understanding of key industry trends appropriate to the areas in which we have specified (finance/audit and risk/HR) and how to exploit these for business benefit.
- Ideally, the individual will also bring a demonstrable background in managing risk or people strategy functions, operating effectively at a strategic level, and working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
