As an executive agency of the Ministry of Defence with trading fund status, we deliver our public task at no additional cost to the taxpayer.
This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to take a lead role in developing the next generation of digital marine geospatial products. The challenge ahead is to continue to meet the needs of defence, government and the wider maritime sector, while embracing digital transformation and the opportunities that technology brings. Our customers are central to this journey.
As CCO, you will play a pivotal role in leading our customer focused strategy, including business development, customer experience and product strategy. Key to our customer-centric strategy will be to building and maintaining strong relationships with international partners and the commercial shipping industry. These relationships will be essential to sustaining and growing commercial returns, guiding the transformation of our services to meet the demands of a rapidly changing maritime environment. To deliver our public task, you will also be key in maintaining strong relationships with our defence customer. Based in Taunton, Somerset, we are proud of our modern and purpose-built office in beautiful surroundings with a variety of on-site facilities and our inclusive and purpose driven culture.
