democracy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience as an effective leader, leading a commercially vibrant, growth-oriented organisation, ideally with remote and dispersed teams<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience of change and transformation of small or medium-sized organisations, including success in motivating, recruiting, developing, retaining, and mentoring high-performance, mission-driven, and results-oriented teams<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience growing and developing a consultancy (or similar organisation \/ business unit) into new markets and sectors, including securing strategic, long-term funding partnerships<\/li>\n<li>A track record in mobilising research and social innovation capabilities to drive social change<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with working in a unionised environment<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience working with and leading a not-for-profit Board and working with diverse groups of people<\/li>\n<li>An extensive, diverse, and relevant network which will complement The Young Foundation\u2019s existing
