  • Deep commitment to and passion for wildlife, nature connection and the wider environment movement.
  • Strong inclusive and collaborative senior leadership experience.
  • Demonstrate strategic planning experience within a similar sized organisation.
  • Clear understanding of the governance and management of a charity.
  • Appreciation of the charity sector and its ethos.

Desirable

  • Understanding of the role of Wildlife Trusts.
  • Experience of working with a Board or similar governing body ideally in the charity sector.

  • Experience of successfully establishing and sustaining a strong and supportive performance management culture.
