{"id":11,"date":"2023-07-05T14:29:27","date_gmt":"2023-07-05T13:29:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/micro.green-park.co.uk\/st-pauls\/?page_id=11"},"modified":"2026-09-15T14:45:58","modified_gmt":"2026-09-15T13:45:58","slug":"person-specification","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/micro.green-park.co.uk\/st-pauls\/person-specification\/","title":{"rendered":"Person Specification"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section class=\"hero\">\n\t<div class=\"hero__container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"hero__row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"hero__image\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/micro.green-park.co.uk\/st-pauls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/236\/2023\/07\/banner2.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"banner2\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"title\">\n\t<div class=\"title__container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"title__row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"title__content\">\n\t\t<h1>\n\t\t  Person Specification &#8211; Senior Non-Executive Member of Chapter\t  <\/h1>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"content\">\n\t<div class=\"content__container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"content__row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"content__column\">\n\t\t  \t\t\t\t<p>In addition to the person specification for a non-executive member of Chapter outlined below, the Senior Non-Executive should bring to the role their faith, credibility and a willingness to serve, along with a desire to build and maintain strong relationships.<\/p>\n<p>The appointee is likely to have experience operating at a senior level with a deep understanding of finance, strategy, resource and risk.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate is likely to be well-networked and have previous experience operating as a board member or charity trustee; previous experience as a Chair is desirable.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Time Commitment\/Expectations<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Senior Non-Executive Member role will have a requirement, on average, of one day per month in addition to the one day a month commitment required of all Chapter non-executives.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Person Specification for all Non-Executive Members of Chapter<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicant member of the Church of England (within the meaning given in Rule 83(2) of the Church Representation Rules), or a communicant member of a Church which is not in communion with the Church of England but subscribes to the doctrine of the Holy Trinity.<\/li>\n<li>Committed to the Cathedral\u2019s Christian vision, mission and ministry.<\/li>\n<li>Able to carry out legal duties as set out in the Charity Commission\u2019s \u2018CC3 &#8211; The Essential Trustee\u2019 and make decisions in accordance with the guidance provided in \u2018CC27 &#8211; It\u2019s Your Decision\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to follow the Chapter\u2019s Code of Conduct and Trustee Code of Practice and to uphold all of Chapter\u2019s safeguarding responsibilities, including undertaking training on safeguarding as required.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable ability to think strategically, evaluate opportunities and contribute to the strategic vision.
