Experience
- Experience demonstrable achievement working at Board/Committee level and is familiar with the operation of a business at Board/Committee level,
- C-suite/Executive leadership experience and demonstrable sustained achievement in a complex commercial or public setting, developing property for mixed/residential purposes, including experience of working with national and local government, and their agencies, in the application of funding; and partnership working including special purpose vehicles, and related governance,
- Strong commercial leadership credentials and understanding of financial models with the ability to analyse performance, financial and other business information and how these translate into social outcomes,
- Demonstratable strong strategic focus and experience of strategic development within a customer facing organisation,
- Non-executive/executive experience of supporting a organisation through a period of change (preferably within a complex group setting),
- Able to assimilate, analyse and critically evaluate complex information, and reach unbiased, logical conclusions,
- Embraces new ideas and approaches, and able to devise creative solutions to complex problems.

Additional Information
All non-executives at SNG are expected to:
- Be able to attend the agreed programme of meetings plus occasional other meetings and events each year,
- Not work for or be involved with any organisation that would consistently produce a conflict of interest. This includes making an annual declaration of interests,
- Undertake an annual appraisal,
- Be prepared to undertake training as agreed with the Chief Executive, Company Secretary or Board Chair,
- Carry out the role in the context of and in compliance with the Equality and Diversity Policy.
