Candidates should also demonstrate sound judgement in operating within a regulated environment and an understanding of how to maintain constructive, transparent and effective relationships with regulators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Understanding of the Broader Environment<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates will also be aligned to the values and social purpose of the organisation and bring a broader perspective on the macro-economic climate and the political environment within which RFL operates. Candidates will therefore bring a proven understanding of how Government and other important stakeholders for RFL function. They should also demonstrate an appreciation of RFL\u2019s role in working with the financial sector, Government and the National Lottery Community Fund to unlock the potential of dormant assets for good causes, while safeguarding the rights of dormant asset holders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Culture<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>This individual will also fit the style and culture of the Board. The Board fosters a culture of openness and transparency and operates in a collegiate manner. Candidates will therefore provide a proven track record of being able to form good relationships with fellow directors and senior executives within RFL whilst being able to challenge management in an engaged, constructive and informed fashion. Candidates should be able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with RFL\u2019s values of Collaboration, Evolution, Integrity, Respect and Responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Stakeholder Management<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>All candidates will need to have a proven track record of senior, diverse stakeholder management.
