Agreed expenses are reimbursed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term of Office:<\/strong> 3 year term renewable for up to 3 terms.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Candidates Should<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate a strong and visible passion and commitment to RDA, its strategic objectives and cause.<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit strong relationship building abilities and enjoy an ambassadorial role.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate tact and diplomacy, with the ability to listen and engage effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate an ability to foster and promote a collaborative team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Have a good understanding of charity governance matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Candidates will have significant skills and experience in at least one of the following key areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disability<\/li>\n<li>Equine expertise (including in the area of education\/academia)<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising<\/li>\n<li>Brand and marketing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Time Commitment\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>4 Board meetings per year. In addition, Trustees will be asked to join one of RDA\u2019s sub-committees.<\/li>\n<li>All trustees are expected to attend key RDA events and visit RDA groups from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>It is expected that the trustee role will require working on average 2 days per month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We believe that diversity of views and experience are paramount to how we develop and grow our charity.
