Qualifications
Essential
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Desirable
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional Accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA etc.
Experience
Essential
- Proven ability in a senior finance and/or operations role, preferably within the charity sector.
- Proven ability of managing budgets of £1 million or more.
- Proven ability in the negotiation of high level contracts.
- Proven ability of managing and developing operational policies, procedures and systems.
- Proficiency in operational systems and able to critically assess their efficiency.
Desirable
- Experience of developing commercial partnerships for income generation.
- Knowledge of Local and Central Government procurement processes.
- Proven ability in the negotiation of high level contracts with statutory service providers.
