Qualifications
- CCAB-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalente
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in finance, governance or charity
- Knowledge of VAT rules relevant to charities (desirable)
Experience
- Significant experience leading finance functions within a charity or similarly regulated
- String track record of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and management
- Deep understanding of charity finance, regulations, SOPR, and statutory
- Experience managing multiple funding streams and restricted/unrestricted
- Experience producing financial reports for funders, commissioners, or statutory
- Experience overseeing staff expenses and implementing expense
- Experience supporting VAT calculations and
- Experience of improving financial systems, processes and internal
- Experience of supporting Boards and senior leadership teams with financial
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong technical accounting
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving
- Strong understanding of financial governance, risk management, and
- High digital literacy, including finance systems and
