  • Substantial experience of working at a senior level in a high profile and complex environment

  • An understanding of he NMC’s regulatory and social policy environment
  • The ability to manager a complex, high profile and multi-faceted portfolio of work
  • Effective skills for partnership and collaboration
  • Sound understanding of the importance of corporate governance
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills. Understanding of the operation of education institutions and of the nursing or midwifery education environments in particular
