Technical Skills
- NMC registrant, with advanced understanding of professional regulation, safeguarding, education quality assurance and midwifery practice. Masters level qualification or equivalent.
- Highly developed communication, influencing and negotiation skills at executive and national level. Strong level of political acumen.
- Ability to analyse complex evidence and data to inform strategic and operational decisions.
Experience
- Substantial executive-level leadership experience in large-scale, complex organisations within health, social care or regulatory environments.
- Extensive experience of professional regulation, safeguarding governance and education quality assurance.
- Proven experience of leading sustainable organisational change, culture development and high-level stakeholder engagement.
Standard responsibilities
