Every day, millions across the UK turn to us for clarity, reassurance and practical help &#8211; whether they\u2019re navigating debt, trying to stay on top of day\u2011to\u2011day finances, or planning for a more secure retirement. Behind every one of those moments is a real person with hopes, worries and responsibilities, and we never lose sight of that.<\/p>\n<p>Pensions Dashboards will make a difference on a scale very few public services can. For the first time, millions of people will be able to see all their pensions in one secure place. That simple act of bringing information together can be transformative &#8211; helping people reconnect with savings they\u2019ve lost track of, understand what they\u2019re on course for, and make more confident decisions about their retirement. This service has the potential to change lives and help people plan for later life in a way that feels clearer, fairer and far less stressful.<\/p>\n<p>Launching something so important &#8211; and so visible &#8211; depends on clear, trusted and well\u2011coordinated communication across a huge and diverse ecosystem. That\u2019s why this role matters so much.<\/p>\n<p>As Head of Communications &amp; Engagement, you\u2019ll shape the story of dashboards from now through launch and into early live service. You\u2019ll help government, regulators, industry and consumers understand what dashboards are, how they work and what they need to do. You\u2019ll be a source of clarity and calm at moments of real pressure, and you\u2019ll work closely with me, with our Executive SRO and with our Chief Executive on some of the most sensitive and high\u2011profile decisions we\u2019ll take. You will also lead a capable, delivery\u2011focused team and work at the centre of a complex, fast\u2011moving environment where clarity, judgement and influence truly matter.<\/p>\n<p>This is a rare opportunity to help deliver a nationally significant digital service and to play a central role in making sure we launch safely, confidently and with the trust of everyone involved.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for someone who brings strategic judgment, empathy and a real feel for how to influence behaviour across a complex system. Someone who can simplify complexity, anticipate challenges and build trusted relationships at senior levels.
