Thank you for your interest in becoming the first Head of Impact at the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS).
At MaPS, everything we do is about making a real difference to people’s lives. Every year, millions of people turn to us for support – from dealing with debt, to planning for retirement, to building everyday money confidence. Behind every number is a person or family working towards a better financial future, and we’re here to make sure they get the right help at the right time.
But our impact goes further. We sit at the heart of the financial wellbeing ecosystem, working with government, regulators, industry, and community partners to raise standards, join up services, and create change at scale. That makes understanding and demonstrating our impact not just valuable, but vital.
This is where you come in. As Head of Impact, you will lead how we define, measure and communicate the difference MaPS makes – both for the people who use our services and for the wider system we influence. You’ll bring together evaluation, insight and performance to create a clear, compelling picture of our impact, and ensure that evidence drives decisions across the organisation.
You’ll be joining us at an exciting moment. With a clear three-year strategy in place and the next one already taking shape, this is a unique opportunity to build and lead a new impact function that not only measures outcomes but actively shapes them – helping us to prove and improve the difference we make.
We’re looking for someone who is curious, creative and rigorous – able to turn data into meaning, evidence into action, and insight into inspiration. You’ll be as confident working with colleagues across MaPS as you are engaging government, regulators and partners, ensuring our impact is visible, trusted and understood.
If you want to use your skills to show how MaPS changes lives, and help us strengthen financial wellbeing across the UK, we’d love to hear from you.
