Thank you for your interest in joining us at the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) as our next Corporate Director for Strategy and Impact.
At MaPS, we’re here to help people build financial confidence and resilience, today and for the future. Last year, our debt services supported approximately 600,000 people and businesses, we supported over 800,000 people with their pensions queries and our website saw over 370,000 visits for money guidance. This gives us a unique insight into the challenges people face and the practical support they need, especially as rising living costs continue to impact so many across the UK.
We know financial wellbeing isn’t just about making the most of your money; it’s about tackling hardship and ensuring people can get help when they need it most. Our vision of better financial futures for everyone in need sits at the heart of everything we do.
You will be joining MaPS at an exciting moment. We have a clear three-year strategic plan and are already looking ahead to the next, ensuring we can continue to deliver brilliant services while staying agile for the challenges and opportunities on the horizon. This role offers you the chance to shape the future of MaPS, helping us to show the real impact we have on financial wellbeing across the UK.
As our Corporate Director, you will guide a talented, committed team working across strategy, policy, impact and stakeholder engagement. You will act as a senior advisor to the Executive Committee and Board, ensuring MaPS remains purposeful, aligned and ready for the future. You will help us strengthen our organisation, build partnerships across government and industry, and ensure we are focusing our efforts where they can make the biggest difference.
We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to public service and delivering brilliant services, and who can bring warmth, integrity and clarity to their leadership. You will need to be a strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture, build purposeful relationships, and communicate with confidence. Experience in shaping strategy, policy and service delivery will serve you well in this role.
If you want to join an organisation where your work will directly improve people’s lives and help us build financial resilience across the UK, we would love to hear from you.
I very much look forward to reading your application.
