This support is provided, primarily, through funding applied for by applicants.<\/p>\n<p>Our mission is to support people who address the root causes of con\ufb02ict and injustice.\u00a0 Every year JRCT makes more than 100 grants for all kinds of charitable work, from grassroots community groups to well established charities working to build a peaceful and just world.<\/p>\n<h2>OUR FUTURE<\/h2>\n<p>Joseph Rowntree founded JRCT 120 years ago, and we continue to build on his legacy by supporting organisations and individuals working for a more just and equitable society.<\/p>\n<p>We want to ensure sustained and considered support for the people and organisations doing vital work in an increasingly complex and unequal world.<\/p>\n<p>We have started a process of strategic planning for JRCT. We are developing a long-term vision that ensures JRCT&#8217;s continued impact and enables us to provide sustained support to organisations working to address the root causes of social injustice.
