We are looking for an experienced, empathetic leader with a proven ability in guiding organisations through periods of change and embedding a collaborative, open culture within diverse teams. You will be joining JRCT at a time of internal transition towards a new 2028 strategy, against a backdrop of external instability and increasing need from those we seek to empower and support.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Chief Executive or in a Senior Leadership role within a relevant sector.
- Understanding of grant-making/philanthropy sector.
- Knowledge of the social and political environment within which the Trust operates.
- Willing to work within a Quaker ethos of commitment to social justice.
- Proven experience of, and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, including an understanding of power-informed organisational ethics and systemic inequalities.
- Demonstrated experience in the challenges of leadership and operational management in periods of transition or change.
- Experience of implementing/operationalising and monitoring an organisational strategy.
- Development of a senior team and building trusted and responsive relationships with trustee boards.
- Strong understanding of governance within the charitable sector and the legal and regulatory requirements involved.
- Understanding of faith-based organisational governance.
