- A strong track record of leadership and delivering results.
- A passion and deep understanding of the wounded, injured and or sick community and the incredible potential of sports and the Games to impact lives
- Significant Board experience, including an understanding of corporate and sports governance board-level responsibilities and accustomed to the principles of public sector accountability
- A strategic and collaborative approach to objective setting and decision-taking with the ability to facilitate focused and relevant discussions.
- Ability to inspire and unite key diverse stakeholders behind the vision for the Games
- Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity
- Ability to thrive in a high-profile environment, with an understanding of managing communications and organisational reputation
- Appropriate experience of finance and risk
- Experience and expertise in major sporting events (commercial, marketing and or delivery) is desirable
