Candidates may come from education leadership, academia, youth work, local government, community development, cultural organisations or place-based programmes.<\/p>\n<p>This trustee will help ensure our work remains rooted in evidence, children\u2019s voice and community participation while supporting the evolution of our pedagogy, experience model and theory of change. They will bring insight into creativity, play, inclusive practice and the future of education, including awareness of how AI is changing children\u2019s learning and opportunities.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Trustee Profile 2 \u2013 Finance, Governance &amp; Future Chair of the Finance and Advancement Committee<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Candidates may be current or former CEOs, COOs or CFOs, Finance Directors, Audit Committee Chairs, Treasurers, investment professionals or senior leaders with significant governance experience in charities, education, foundations or mission-led organisations.<\/p>\n<p>This Trustee will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chair the Finance and Advancement Committee.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Board on financial sustainability.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee risk and governance.<\/li>\n<li>Help monitor fundraising performance and organisational resilience.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to Board succession and mentor future trustees where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Work in partnership with iOi\u2019s Finance Director to prepare for and support the effective running of Finance and Advancement Committee meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Trustee Profile 3 \u2013 Strategic Partnerships, Philanthropy &amp; Influence<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>We seek someone with senior level experience of major donors, family offices, philanthropy, corporate partnerships, entrepreneurship, or influential networks.<\/p>\n<p>This trustee will help strengthen relationships with major funders, identify strategic opportunities, broaden our networks and champion the iOi externally.
