Introduction
Imagination is not simply a creative skill; it is a capability that enables children to navigate uncertainty, solve problems, collaborate, build confidence and shape a better future. At the Institute of Imagination (the iOi), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to develop these capabilities regardless of their background.
Having secured significant long-term investment, including a transformational National Lottery award, we are moving from a period of organisational resilience into one of sustainable growth, deeper place-based impact, stronger national influence and greater systems change.
We are therefore recruiting three trustees not simply to replace departing Board members, but to help build the Board that will steward the organisation through its next decade. Collectively they will strengthen governance, financial stewardship, educational insight, philanthropy, strategic partnerships and lived experience.

We design and deliver inspiring learning experiences across science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM), enabling children to imagine and create a fairer, more sustainable future. Through play, creativity and imagination we work with children, educators, families, communities, businesses and policymakers to create lasting change.
