Essential criteria
- Executive-level leadership experience, with a proven ability to deliver results in complex, high-profile environments.
- Successful professional experience of UK real estate markets.
- Successful experience in leading the strategy of a substantial financial services operation, ideally within the housebuilding and/or development sector / Investment Management arena.
- A track record of leading high-performing teams and managing significant change, fostering innovation and collaboration at all levels.
- A comprehensive understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management, with the ability to navigate evolving market conditions.
- A demonstrable appreciation of how to deploy capital across the capital stack (from grants, loans and guarantees to equity). Evidence of the successful management of a senior and complex stakeholder base.
- A demonstrable understanding of financial and strategic planning.
Desirable criteria
- Qualification as a Chartered banker or Chartered Surveyor with extensive relevant post‐qualification experience.
- Experience of regeneration, development, and land investment.
