Director Tax, Customs and Compliance Academy (TCCA)\t  <\/h1>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"content\">\n\t<div class=\"content__container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"content__row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"content__column\">\n\t\t  \t\t\t\t<p><b>This is a critical, high-profile leadership role accountable for delivering on the strategic\u00a0objectives\u00a0for the tax profession and building tax, customs, and compliance capability to close the tax gap and modernise HMRC.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>While TCCA is co-sponsored by the\u00a0Head of the Tax Profession and\u00a0Director General, CCG, the role works across the enterprise and in close partnership with HR and\u00a0Executive Committee to support in building the tax capability required to support\u00a0HMRC\u2019s functions in policy, tax legal, change and service.<\/p>\n<h3>Strategic Leadership &amp; Governance\u200b<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead development and\u00a0implementation of HMRC\u2019s\u00a0capability strategy for the tax profession and TCCA, aligning them to the organisation\u2019s strategic objectives and transformation roadmap.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>Act as a visible and influential leader, running HMRC\u2019s Senior Tax Professionalism Board and providing strategic advice to\u00a0the Head of Tax Profession, CCG Director General, and Director of Learning and Talent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Capability Development &amp; Learning Transformation\u00a0\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive design and delivery of scalable, tailored, sustainable learning and capability solutions, including the Civil Compliance Foundation Learning (CCFL), Tax Specialist Programme (TSP) and a \u2018Tax for All\u2019 learning offer.\u200b\u200b<\/li>\n<li>Champion modern, blended approaches to learning\u2014experience, exposure, education\u2014leveraging technology and professionalisation of learning roles.\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/li>\n<li>Lead the development of career pathways, standards and learning frameworks for tax professionals across HMRC (policy, service, legal, technical and compliance) ensuring alignment with job roles and business needs to cultivate a pipeline of tax talent for future leadership roles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Enterprise Collaboration and Influence<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build strong partnerships across HMRC\u2019s business groups, with the\u00a0other capability academies, HR and professions to co-create and deliver joined-up HMRC capability solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Influence HMRC-wide resource and funding decisions to prioritise strategic capability outcomes and cross-academy working.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring capability keeps pace with external developments and emerging risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Mobilisation into Delivery<b>\u200b\u200b<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the mobilisation and ongoing development of TCCA, including organisational design, workforce transition, and sustained operational delivery. \u200b\u200b<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain a clear view of the tax professional cadre, including mapping existing numbers and skills against requirements to deliver current and future objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Professional Stewardship &amp;
