About you \u2013 Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Senior operational experience, ideally within the not-for-profit or other relevant sector, with excellent leadership skills and experience managing a high-performing geographically dispersed team of 20+.<\/li>\n
  • Experience of successfully leading people through organisational, cultural or service\/operational change.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to think strategically, to shape and implement strategy, build and deliver business plans, develop and deliver pilot projects\/service improvement.<\/li>\n
  • Strong coaching, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate, bring people together and influence at every level driving action.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to tailor communication to audience.<\/li>\n
  • A commitment to person-centred services and measurable outcomes, with the ability to review, analyse and interpret data and act on results.<\/li>\n
  • The ability to create and maintain clear, effective and uncomplicated systems reducing unnecessary administration.<\/li>\n
  • Experience managing significant budgets (at least six-figures), monitoring expenditure, supporting forecasting and reporting processes, including experience working with Finance and Income Generation teams to build, manage and report on restricted project budgets.<\/li>\n
  • Strong professional judgement, swift decision-making and the ability to manage complexity, risk and competing priorities.<\/li>\n
  • Solution focused, calm, decisive and resilient with an ability to see the big picture as well as being systematic, with attention to trend and detail.<\/li>\n
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.<\/li>\n
  • Approachable, encouraging feedback and creating opportunities for reflection and continuous learning.<\/li>\n
  • A high level of digital literacy, competent in MS Office applications.<\/li>\n
  • A good understanding of safeguarding best practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Experience working with volunteers to support service\/operational delivery.<\/li>\n
    • Project management experience e.g., Agile or Prince 2.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working in the healthcare or animal-related not for profit sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Have a full UK driving licence, with access to a vehicle during the working week, and a willingness to travel.<\/li>\n
