Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate clearly and effectively, including translating complex operational or technical issues into simple, accessible guidance for a range of audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a service-provision role, build trust, secure buy-in, and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Strategic & Operational Capability

  • Proven strategic planning skills, with the ability to analyse operational needs, identify opportunities for improvement, prioritise effectively, and adapt plans flexibly in response to changing circumstances.
  • Strong operational leadership experience, including oversight of financial planning, audits, governance reviews, and risk mitigation processes within an international or multi-jurisdictional context.

Professional & Technical Expertise

  • Qualified accountant (or equivalent professional experience) and/or Company Secretary, with substantial experience in financial management, governance, and compliance.
  • Sufficient technical expertise to oversee the implementation of IT and digital projects, including data protection, cyber security, and the management of digital platforms and access controls.

Innovation & Change Management

  • Ability to proactively identify, recommend, and implement improvements to operational activities and ways of working.
  • Experience in building or redesigning systems and successfully introducing new tools, technologies, and processes where existing ones are outdated or ineffective.
