Thank you for your interest in the role of Chief Operating Officer at Global Dialogue.
This is an important moment for the organisation. Over the past several years, Global Dialogue has grown steadily in scale, complexity and reach, supporting an increasingly diverse portfolio of funder networks, collaboratives and programmes working to advance rights, equity and diversity. We are now looking for a COO who can provide strong operational leadership, ensuring that our systems, processes and ways of working continue to support high-quality, responsible and effective philanthropic activity.
Global Dialogue operates as a host for philanthropic initiatives that are legally part of the organisation. This brings both opportunity and responsibility. Our hosted programmes rely on us for robust financial management, compliant employment frameworks, sound governance and proportionate risk management, while retaining the autonomy and space they need to focus on strategy, grantmaking and impact. The COO will play a central role in holding that balance.
Working closely with the Executive Director, senior colleagues and the Board, the COO will lead Global Dialogue’s operational delivery across finance, people, compliance, IT and risk. They will support the organisation to plan well, manage complexity and adapt as our work evolves, while maintaining clarity, transparency and trust with funders, partners and programme teams.
This role also sits at the heart of how we live our values in practice. We are purposeful in our mission, practical in our approach, and committed to working in ways that are accountable, respectful and equitable. The COO will help embed those commitments across our operational policies, processes and relationships, ensuring that care, rigour and fairness are reflected not only in what we do, but in how we do it.
