The appointment process will include:

  1. Initial Briefing
    Candidates will first be invited to an introductory conversation with the appointed recruiter. This briefing will provide an opportunity to explore the role, ask questions, and clarify expectations before moving forward in the process.
  2. Informal Discussion
    Shortlisted candidates will be offered the chance to engage in an informal discussion with the Director of the Fitzwilliam Museum, Luke Syson, and the Chair of the Syndicate, Will Dawkins. This conversation is intended to offer mutual insight and help candidates better understand the Museum’s strategic direction and governance culture.
  3. Formal Interview
    Following the informal stage and final shortlisting, candidates will be invited to a formal interview with a selection panel. This interview will assess relevant skills, experience, and alignment with the Museum’s vision, values, and priorities.
