If re-appointed, the total time served in post will not exceed more than two terms or serve in any one post for more than ten years.<\/li>\n<li>It will be important that a Member\u2019s other commitments do not cast any doubt on their ability to act independently and impartially in discharging the role; any potential conflict of interest must be declared and will be discussed at interview.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All Board Members are required to adhere to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Cabinet Office <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.publishing.service.gov.uk\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/attachment_data\/file\/809093\/Code-of-Conduct-for-Board-Members-of-Public-Bodies-2019-WEB.PDF\">Code of Conduct for Board Members of Public Bodies<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The Seven Principles of Public Life (see <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/micro.green-park.co.uk\/fcdo-ned\/ned-application-page\/\">Annex A<\/a><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Commitment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Approximately 20 days per annum. Further hours from time to time may be reasonable\u00a0and necessary for the sufficient performance of your duties.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Security Clearance<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Appointment to these roles is dependent on receiving national security vetting clearance.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be required to undertake Security Check (SC) clearance.
